Are tiles falling off the wall and joining you in the bath?
It’s time to
remodel your bathroom! Larson Builders
is excited to help you transform your bathroom from dark dungeon to a bright
haven. Take a look at this
transformation.
Let’s start
with what you can’t see. We updated the
plumbing and added structural support in the basement to straighten and level
the floor. Now for what you can see; from
the bath tub surround we removed the dated tile that was falling off the wall. Then we repaired and refinished all the
walls. We replaced the dated tiles with
fresh new tiles and carried them around the new frosted window. Now there is natural light and privacy in the
shower and the custom shelf under the window helps keep all your essentials at
your finger tips. The old linoleum floor
was also updated with the same tiles as in the bath surround, along with new wood
base trim, and shoe molding. All the
lighting and electrical was updated.
Finally, to help keep the owners warm in the winter we added a new heat
supply.
Straight from the Customer
Rick did a fantastic
job from start to finish. He was very professional and gave an itemized
estimate before beginning any work. I was able to make adjustments as needed
throughout the remodel. I was kept informed about the work every step of the
way and met with each individual sub-contractor that was arranged through
Larson Builders. There was excellent attention to detail and the kind of
results I was looking to achieve. Rick is respectful of your time, your budget
and your home. My only hesitation in recommending him is that he may not be
available when I need him for my next project!
Need a more personal feel?
For this
project the customer wanted to add a personal touch without overwhelming the
bathroom. We incorporated beach glass
tile with a standard porcelain tile, as well as added built in porcelain
shelves, and new cedar wainscoting.

“I LOVE our
shower. I feel like I’m somewhere else
besides Madison when I’m in the shower.
Must be the the color and the beach glass tile!”
Need a New Layout?
Homes built by different owners or in
previous decades may not have the exact layout you are looking for. In the following project the bathroom was
accessible through the laundry room and the master bedroom. This homeowner wanted something different and
more private. They wanted a full master
suite. To accomplish this we had to
close off one wall, update the electrical, move and add new fixtures. Then we installed custom tile walls, updated
the shower with a new surround, a new sink cabinet with mirror and paint
complete the renovation.
A shower
surround like this will add much needed shelving for all those shower
necessities.
